Featuring an ensemble of 14 Bharatanatyam dancers, come witness an evening of Indian classical dance to Thyagaraja’s famous compositions. First HORIZON SERIES Performance of 2018 was SOLD OUT!! On Sunday, March 25th, 2018, Sampradaya welcomed dancers Shanthini Kangesan and Sridaya Srivatsan who performed for a sold out crowd. Everyone in the audience was spell-bound by the dancers’ technique, grace, and power. After the performance, Artistic Director Lata Pada facilitated a lively and informative Q&A session with the dancers. Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and came to the show and thank you to the dancers for all their hard work and brilliant performances.

|News! We are pleased to share the Sampradaya Dance Creations has received funding for a new project called Dispelling Darkness . The project has been granted $30,000 from the Creative Engagement Fund which is provided by the Government of Ontario (It’s Never Okay: Ontario’s Action Plan to Stop Violence and Harassment) and is administered by the Ontario Arts Council. Dispelling Darkness will tackle issues of sexual violence and harassment within the South Asian community. The company will be working with community collaborators and aim to have the project running by the Fall of 2017.|
